Keyboard For Kids

Description

A program designed for children to help them learn the look and sound of letters and their placement on the keyboard.

There are many similar online programs so why did I create another one? First of all, it is a gift for my children. I thought it would be fun to create something of value for them. Many of the similar programs are paid or full of ads. Keyboard For Kids is a completely free application and has a built-in voiceover, which gives it an advantage over the competition.

Features

Application has three educational functions:

• teaches what letters look like,
• teaches how letters sound,
• teaches the position of letters on the keyboard.

The program is under development. I plan to add new functionalities, a new layout and more language versions in the future.

System requirements

The game should run on any computer with Windows operating system. The main requirement is to have 200 MB of free space on your hard drive.

Installation

To launch the game follow these steps:

1. Download a zip file.
2. Unzip it to any folder.
3. Run file Keyboard For Kids.exe.

Sources

If you feel like it, you can download the source codes of the application and create something completely new based on them. The source codes are available completely free of charge. Link do github source: https://github.com/AvernusSoftware/KeyboardForKids
